Vapa is an alternative marketing communications agency with vision, creativity, and content at its core. We are known in the field particularly as an expert agency in strategic content marketing. Additionally, we are a comprehensive marketing partner for many clients, working on brand development, campaigns, and maintaining continuous presence in owned and earned channels. We want to revolutionise the marketing field by identifying new tools, trends, and other developments that are valuable to our clients both now and in the future.

For spring 2025, we are looking for trainees to join our team in copy & content designer and video content creator roles. At Vapa, you’ll learn and develop as a professional in a pleasant work environment, and you’ll get to utilise your core competencies and strengths in the diverse tasks of marketing communications.

You don’t need to know everything from the start. However, we hope that you have portfolio pieces relevant to the position or area of expertise you’re applying for. We greatly value a can-do attitude and genuine desire to develop your skills along a steep learning curve. A curious mindset is key, and asking for help when needed is encouraged. At our workplace, no one needs to manage alone. Vapa’s work culture is built on collaboration and trust between clients and colleagues.

We require good English language skills, as English is our office language and we work bilingually with some of our clients.

Below are detailed descriptions of the trainee positions starting in January 2025:

TRAINEE: Copy & Content Designer

As a Copy & Content Designer trainee, you will be involved in every stage of the content creation process from brief to design, production and analysis of the results. You understand the potential of different story types and styles. You love writing and brainstorming, working in teams as well as independently. Experience in interviewing is considered an advantage, and other language skills are a plus.

In addition to your writing skills, you are curious about other storytelling tools such as infographics, podcasts and videos. You can bring a topic to life through a story, whether it’s about brushing your teeth or pension insurance. You are interested in digital marketing and influencing people on social media. You have a broad general knowledge and are interested in current news and phenomena.

TRAINEE: Video Content Creator

As a Video Content Creator trainee, you’ll help bring engaging stories to life through social video content. If you live and breathe social media, have a passion for video editing, and want to turn your TikTok obsession into a career, this could be your perfect start. In your role you create and edit engaging short-form videos for platforms like TikTok and YouTube, contribute fresh content ideas that resonate with our audience, learn to develop content strategies aligned with current social media trends and stay up-to-date with social media trends and platform updates.

You’re creative, eager to learn, and ready to turn your passion for digital content into a career. We’re looking for a person that has a creative mindset and ability to generate engaging content ideas, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Also you should have great video editing skills with a willingness to learn more. 

Experience creating content for personal social media accounts, firm understanding of popular editing software, knowledge of what makes content go viral and experience with mobile video editing apps are seen as a bonus. We offer you hands-on training in content creation, mentorship from experienced content creators and an opportunity to grow your skills and portfolio. The internship begins in January and lasts until June. The salary for this position is 1200 euros per month.
